In floral industry, wedding floral choices are: calla lilies, cymbiudium orchids, dendrobium orchids, peonies and stephanotis. For bridal bouquets a bride can choose either a single flower bouquet or mixed flower bouquets. In spring brides tend to choose lighter less massive flowers: tullips, dendrobium orchids, sweet peas. However, if a bride desires a full bouquet we can definitely offer peonies, roses, snow ball, spiders mums.
Flowers are popular also for non-wedding events. For example: Sweet 16th, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Baptism, Baby Naming, Baby Shower and others. For these events one can choose hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, roses, Bird of Paradise, Large exotic greens, delphinium, carnations. Do not be afraid to choose bright colour combinations and non-traditional flowers. However, if you do want to use whites & creams, we recommend to use various textures and different sizes and shapes to create a contrast. This way your event will be surprising and multi-dimensional.
Elegant Baskets recommends adding a few large arrangements: either ceremony arrangements that were used for the ceremony and now will be decorating your entrance to the reception room or simply large vases with branches or floral clusters. If you do not want traditional floral arrangements, ask for oversized branch arrangements or Manzanita trees (we carry both faux and natural). To each tree we can add crystal accessories.
Accessories play a very important role. Either it is a corsage or a boutonniere it is still very popular to give them to parents and other family members. You do want them to feel special!
